The Schlattacker Cheese Dairy was operational from 1843 onwards, but it was forced to close in 2012 because of excessively high renovation costs, amongst other reasons. Fortunately, some Emmental cheese dairies have been able to survive.

From here, you can also see the Rüttihubelbad, with a hotel, playgrounds, a therapeutic social and residential community, an old people's residential and nursing home, cultural and educational facilities and the "Sensorium", a sense activation path. It is worth a visit!
